Pollinated years ago, discarded and carried by the wind
Trapped beneath the streets paved by cement
Roots have sprouted and traveled near and far
Stems strengthened by rays of sunlight peeking through
Together we breakthrough and bask in the light of day
To rise higher and indulge in life before cement snuffs us out
