Planet earth no longer safe
Escaping to the stars and stroids
to live amongst that which is alien
to be free of judgment
No roles to play, just a life to live
Human; one race, red blood
One nation under God, but never justice for all
Escaping to the beyond to find acceptance
in the abyss of unknown

Beautiful and heartfelt, and very true. Hopefully this world will make some big changes,and voices will be truly heard! Sometimes it does seem the stars would be a more peaceful place where we all are truly of the stars no matter the color of our skin. One race indeed! Truly inspiring poem! So glad to have you joined us again at the Muse Regina! We have missed you my friend!!
