Escape

"In the Middle of Freedom"  by Isabel Mansfield

Day in and day out
I struggle to make one more.
To be rescued by weeks’ end.
Were you discovered by someone?
Paper cranes set free.  A short distance away,
Freedom falls from the sky.
A cry for help encased in twisted paper.
Who shall stumble upon these words to rescue me.

Two Souls as One

The storm is upon us.
United we stand together.
To fall or run.
Covering one another’s back.
The roll of sand ready to devour.
With eyes and heart ready to emerge
from the wall of dust to new awakenings.

Soulfully Cold

http://thesundaymuse.blogspot.com/

Freedom, no inhibitions!
Find your way to feel what you feel.
In tune or out of tune,

The feelings are you!

No lyrics needed to express the
Coolness of the snow touching

Down on the warmth of the

Music in my Soul.

Play On.

Sentry

http://thesundaymuse.blogspot.com/ #37

You do not go unnoticed, we see you and are lying in wait.

Our cunning and stealth will catch you unexpected.

Viking strong and sly as a fox, no one shall enter our domain.

Be careful of the steps you take in case you take a tumble,

And wind up in the hands of these two scoundrels.

We are fierce and with the strength of Thor’s hammer

We are on guard to handle what may come.
