Escape

Day in and day out
I struggle to make one more.
To be rescued by weeks’ end.
Were you discovered by someone?
Paper cranes set free.  A short distance away,
Freedom falls from the sky.
A cry for help encased in twisted paper.
Who shall stumble upon these words to rescue me.

    This is lovely Regina. I think we all can relate to the struggle to make it through another week, and the need to be rescued and set free. A wonderful take on the picture.
