Two Souls as One


The storm is upon us.
United we stand together.
To fall or run.
Covering one another’s back.
The roll of sand ready to devour.
With eyes and heart ready to emerge
from the wall of dust to new awakenings.

    I was particularly held by the particular wording of "to fall or run" --- it really adds something different to this, especially after the phrase "united we stand together" ....
    this is an interesting interpretation of the image .... something to just sit and let the words sink in ...
