(I thought I saw something about trees when I wrote the earlier Muse #57)
Dear hearts I see
Are you aware
Years have passed
No change
Disappointment abounds
Wake up
Cleanse yourself
Become like new
Redeemers rise up

We can only overcome anguish if we are willing to change. Love the truth and voice in this lovely poem! 😍
ReplyDeleteThank you Carrie, I'm always looking for growth in everything. LOL
DeleteHe speaks wise words and you wrote them . . :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Eddie!!
DeleteTrees show no outward changes nor do they care about anguish
ReplyDeleteYou were reading the Sunday Muse #57, the Wednesday Muse is titled Holding On. The are out of order because on Tuesday, the Wednesday Muse was visible when I was attempting the Sunday Muse.
DeleteTrees do show change. They change with the season and can be transformed with the weather. They age and grow.
DeleteVery true Trees tell the tale of the season by the color change of their leaves, or if they have any leaves at all. They speak soft and clear to the eyes.
DeleteAnguish has its season when we are grieving, but if we don't move beyond it it can be a destroyer.
