Gazing at the horizon,
I see a canvas of peace and calm
that evades me in this city of
constant noise and social media.
Longing for the serenity of
the wavering blue waters
that merge into the dock where I
contemplate my next move.
As if I were Jeannie, with the blink of an eye
I would be there as the dock greets the water.

Love the longing for peace in this beautiful poem Regina! We all need more peace and more blue seas and blue skies. The last lines are sublime.
